Between the models cut to the character's silhouette, without the slightest rectangular background around them, and the large prints that take over a whole corner of a bedroom, our Pokémon rugs run from the 100 cm round bedside mat to the 150 x 150 cm square, all the way to this Ash and Pikachu Shaped Rug cut out to the millimeter.

OUR POKÉMON RUGS 🧶

Twenty-five items, two opposite approaches. Twelve models are cut to the silhouette of the character, from Pikachu to Blastoise by way of Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Gengar. The others are large prints, round or square, meant to sit in the middle of a room. Prices run from €52.90 to €223.90 depending on the floor area.

THE POKÉMON SILHOUETTE CUT STRAIGHT INTO THE RUG, WITH NO RECTANGULAR BACKGROUND ✂️

On the Ash and Pikachu model, the two characters are cut out to the millimeter, with no frame around them. On the one with the puffy yellow lettering and its blue outline, the word itself is the rug. Voltorb shows up life-size, red on the top half and white on the bottom, wary stare included, and Electrode picks up exactly the same colors flipped.

A POKÉMON FLOOR RUG THAT STAYS PUT, EVEN ON WAXED HARDWOOD 🧽

The build is the same across the whole category: short-pile polyester velvet over foam, rubberized non-slip backing and overlocked edges so the border doesn't fray. The whole thing is machine washable at 30 °C, which matters more in a kid's bedroom than in an office.

That's the decision that shapes the room. The round ones start at the 60 cm bedside size and climb through five diameters. The squares stretch from 60 x 60 cm to 150 x 150 cm. The rectangles cover everything from the 60 x 53 cm laid at the foot of a bed to the 150 x 133 cm that genuinely takes over a corner of the room.

Surprise is still the best use for this category. The Eevee mosaic, surrounded by Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon, each on its own black-outlined wedge of color, works just as well in a teen's bedroom as in a home office corner. Start small; you can always add a second one later.
