How do you put up the sunshade?

It's a shade that unfolds behind the windshield, on the cabin side, and that you wedge into place before flipping down the car's own sun visors. The design is printed across the entire surface, so it's visible from outside once it's up.

Does it fit every car?

It's a matter of dimensions, not of brand: compare the width listed on the product page with the width of your windshield. On a van or a very wide minivan, a shade designed for a compact car will leave the corners uncovered.

Does it really cut the heat inside the car?

A windshield sunshade with a reflective face brings the temperature down by several degrees and, above all, protects the dashboard and the steering wheel, which turn scorching hot in direct sun.

Does it protect children in the back?

The side models filter direct light off the car seat, which is what they are made for. They are no substitute for approved tinted glass, but they are more than enough for a drive.

How do you store it?

Soft models fold in three or roll up and slip into the door pocket. It is better not to fold them in the same place every time, as the crease eventually marks the reflective layer.
