FAQ - Pokémon Pins
How do your pins attach?
With a post on the back held in place by a metal butterfly clutch. It's the classic system, and it holds just as well on a denim jacket as on a heavy canvas backpack.
Can the pin fall off?
The butterfly clutch grips well, but it can work loose with repeated rubbing. For a pin you really care about, screw-on locking backs are available, sold separately at sewing and craft shops.
What are they made of?
An enameled metal alloy, with the colors laid into recessed cells and then fired. That's what gives them their raised texture and keeps the design from scratching off the way a simple print would.
Does the pin leave a hole in the fabric?
On a fine mesh or a knit, yes, the post pushes the fibers apart. On denim, canvas, or a bag strap, the mark closes back up on its own.
What size are they?
Between 2 and 4 cm, the classic collector pin size: big enough to recognize the Pokémon, discreet enough to line several up on a lapel or a shoulder strap.

An empty denim jacket lapel, a pin, a display board waiting to be filled: our Pokémon pins split between boxed Gym Badges and single brooches, all in enameled metal. You push the post through the fabric, clip the butterfly clutch on behind, and Snorlax stays put all day.
OUR POKÉMON PINS 📌
Two worlds live side by side here. On one side, the Pokémon League badge box sets, eight Gym Badges per region in a rigid case with a clear window : Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos. On the other, single brooches and multi-packs, in cold-enameled metal, flat back with a butterfly clutch, 3 to 4 cm in diameter depending on the design.
COLLECTING ALL EIGHT POKÉMON GYM BADGES OF A REGION AS PINS 🏅
A box set is a whole region and its run of Gym Leaders, behind a clear window that lets you never open it at all. Plenty of people keep it exactly like that, on display; others pull the badges off one by one and pin them in game order, which amounts to making the journey all over again.
ENAMELED METAL FOR OUR POKÉMON PINS, NOT PRINT 🔩
You can see the difference from a meter away. The enamel is cold-poured into the metal ridges: the color is in the material rather than laid on top of it, and you can feel the relief under your finger. On the back, thebutterfly clutch grips the post and won't loosen on its own. The seven-pin glossy enamel set uses the same build, in an assortment of varied designs.
COLLECTIBLE POKÉMON PINS ON YOUR JACKET, BADGES ON DISPLAY 🧥
A brooch travels: denim jacket, backpack, cap, it moves to a new spot every day. A box set stays home, on a shelf or in a collector's display board. You don't have to pick a side — a Gym Badge pinned to your lapel keeps perfectly good company with a sleeping kawaii Snorlax.
FORTY-THREE PIN DESIGNS, EIGHT POKÉMON BADGES PER BOX SET 🔢
The whole section falls between €14.90 and €29.90, a range tight enough that the decision comes down to what you get, not to your budget. A box set when you want a coherent, complete collection in one go; a single brooch when you just want your Pokémon on your lapel, and nothing else.
The badge that makes a jacket or a bag your own: our collection of Pokémon pins features dozens of Pokémon in hard enamel.
In the same spirit, to pin on or sew on, take a look at our Pokémon patches and our Pokémon keychains. The Pokémon goodies section brings together small items in the same vein.
