FAQ - Pokémon Keycaps
Are these keycaps compatible with my keyboard?
They sit on a Cherry MX cross stem, the standard on mechanical keyboards. If your keys pull off and reveal a small cross underneath, these will clip right on. Membrane keyboards and Topre switches are not compatible.
Can the design wear off with use?
No, the image is sealed inside the clear resin, not printed on the surface. Unlike the silkscreened legends on stock keycaps, your finger never actually touches it.
Are they sold individually or as a set?
Individually. That is on purpose: most people want to swap out a single key, usually Esc or Enter, rather than repaint the whole keyboard.
Do I need a tool to install them?
A keycap puller is recommended for lifting the old cap off without forcing it, but one is not included. You can manage without it by pulling straight up, as long as you don't lever against the edge.
Which Pokémon are available?
Twelve, all in pixel art: Pikachu, Charizard, Gengar, Snorlax, Squirtle, Psyduck, Eevee, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Meowth, Togepi and Jigglypuff, plus a Poké Ball design.

A mechanical keyboard gets personalized one key at a time. Our Pokémon keycaps take over the one you look at the most, Escape or Enter, with Cherry MX cross-stem caps that run from pixel art cast under resin to hand-sculpted dioramas, starting with the Pokémon Keycap - Poké Ball.
OUR POKÉMON KEYCAPS ⌨️
Pokémon keycaps come in 40 options for a single keyboard slot, from 14,90 € to 189,90 €. Pikachu, Charizard, Gengar, Snorlax, Squirtle and the Poké Ball are all in there, rendered in pixel art — the style that takes you straight back to the sprites of the first cartridges, and the only one that stays readable at 1.8 cm across.
FORTY POKÉMON KEYS IN A STANDARD SIZE 🎯
Each cap takes up thefootprint of a standard key, or 1.8 x 1.8 cm, which leaves the position up to you: Escape in the top left corner, Enter under your right hand, or a function key if you would rather look at it than hammer it all day long. They are sold individually, so nothing forces you to redo the whole keyboard at once.
THREE POKÉMON KEYCAP BUILDS IN ONE SINGLE SIZE 🧊
That is where the price gap comes from. The standard cap is a cast clear resin with the design encapsulated below the surface. One step up, the vacuum-cast resin gives a polished, bubble-free finish and a stem molded in one piece. At the very top, the diorama is assembled by hand, then buried under several layers, with tiny variations from one piece to the next. As for the Poké Ball, it is an ESC key made of PBT, not resin.
EVERY POKÉMON KEY MOUNTS ON A CROSS STEM 🔧
Compatibility fits on one line: Cherry MX cross stem, so any mechanical keyboard that uses that standard. You pull off the old key, push the new one on, and you are done. One thing to know before you order: thekeycap puller is not included, and you are better off having one within reach than prying the cap off with your fingernails.
THE DESIGN ON EVERY POKÉMON KEYCAP WILL NOT WEAR OFF 💎
That is the argument that counts on a key you hit thousands of times. The artwork is not laid on the surface, it is trapped inside the resin : your fingertip slides over it without ever reaching it. On a diorama, the resin doubles as a magnifier and enlarges the sculpted scene — Snorlax dozing in his golden halo keeps every bit of his sharpness.
Customize your keyboard with our collection of Pokémon keycaps, twelve clear caps whose pixel art design is cast right into the resin.
Cherry MX cross stem, sold individually: swap out one key or line up all twelve. Round out the desk with our Pokémon mouse pads and our Pokémon stationery.
