The Cobalt Coastlands: Hisui's Coast, from Firespit Island to Giratina's Shores

The Cobalt Coastlands are Hisui's great stretch of coastline. Beaches, coves and peninsulas make up its twenty-three zones, which are home to Legendaries such as Giratina and Heatran, and where Sunyshore City and Sinnoh's Pokémon League are already taking shape.

Twenty-Three Zones by the Sea

Beaches and coves make the Cobalt Coastlands Hisui's seaboard in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The area is divided into twenty-three zones, from Ginkgo Landing to Tombolo Walk, by way of Tranquility Cove, Seagrass Haven and Lunker's Lair.

The wildlife mixes sea and land species: Toxicroak, among others, also frequents this shore. The third area of the adventure, the coast comes after the Obsidian Fieldlands and the Crimson Mirelands, and precedes the Coronet Highlands.

Wardens, Clans and Battles

The coast is home to two Wardens, Iscan and Palina, one tied to the Diamond Clan, the other to the Pearl Clan.

It is also the setting for several memorable battles: Irida, the Pearl Clan's leader, challenges the player at Beachside Camp, Adaman awaits them on Ginkgo Landing, and the rival, Rei or Akari depending on the character you chose, crosses swords with you there too.

Firespit Island and the Molten Arena

Offshore rises Firespit Island, with its volcano that will later be known as Stark Mountain. The coast is also home to the Molten Arena, the domain of Arcanine, the area's Noble Pokémon, in its Hisuian form.

To the north, two places await their destiny: they will become Turnback Cave and Sendoff Spring, two sites linked to Giratina in modern-day Sinnoh.

Basculegion, Giratina, Heatran and Manaphy

On this coast, Basculegion joins the player as a Mount Pokémon, able to carry them across the water.

The coast also brings together a rare concentration of exceptional Pokémon: three Legendaries, Heatran, Giratina and Thundurus, and two Mythicals, Manaphy and Phione.

The Shores of Sunyshore City and the League

Two landmarks of Sinnoh will one day appear on these shores: Sunyshore City and the Pokémon League, the latter standing along the coast.
