A huge lake in northwestern Paldea
Casseroya Lake covers the northwest of Paldea, in Scarlet and Violet. It's the largest body of water in the region, and its layout all but forces you to swim across it: a ride Pokémon that can swim is highly recommended.
An island in the middle of the lake has a fast-travel point, handy for coming back later. The area is meant for seasoned teams: its Pokémon hover around levels 45 to 55.

Ruins, towers and Sights of Paldea
Its shores hold several curiosities: two sets of ruins and three numbered watchtowers, spaced out around the lake.
Above all, Casseroya Lake is home to two of the Ten Sights of Paldea, the remarkable landmarks scattered across the region: the Gracia Stones and Casseroya Falls.

The False Dragon Titan
The lake is the domain of a Titan Pokémon that no one has ever seen — or at least, that's what Arven tells the player the first time they approach the area.
On the central island, a crowd of Tatsugiri lies in wait. Almost all of them repeat the same cry and start an ordinary battle; only one speaks differently, and talking to it triggers the real showdown: Dondozo enters the fray, steered from inside its mouth by the Titan Tatsugiri.
Arven then comes to lend the player a hand for the second phase. Dondozo falls first, then Tatsugiri, and victory earns you a Herba Mystica, which powers up your ride Pokémon's abilities.

The lake's Pokémon
The lake is home to diverse wildlife, both aquatic and land-dwelling: Dratini and Dragonair live there alongside the likes of Golduck, Slowpoke, Azumarill and Gyarados, and Scyther is among the species you can run into there.
Some encounters are version exclusives — Misdreavus, Mismagius, Gulpin and Swalot only show up there in Violet, and Skuntank only in Scarlet. Toxicroak, for its part, can be found there in both versions, between levels 50 and 53.
Suicune and Lunala, visitors from The Indigo Disk
Finally, the lake welcomes two Legendary Pokémon from other regions, tied to The Indigo Disk expansion. Once you've picked up the treats handed out at Blueberry Academy by Snacksworth, Suicune appears on an islet west of the lake, and Lunala on the southwest shore.
