She's the final obstacle and, incidentally, everyone's boss. Geeta chairs both the Pokémon League and Paldea's academy, which puts her above every Gym Leader in the region. Her title exists for her alone: Top Champion. Behind an affable appearance, the game stresses a presence that the people she deals with find downright intimidating.

A title that belongs to her alone
Geeta is the most powerful of all the Champion-ranked Trainers in Paldea, which earns her a title with no equivalent in the region: Top Champion.
Her position isn't just competitive. Chairwoman of the League and of the academy, she sits at the top of the entire hierarchy, Gym Leaders included — hence her nickname, "the Boss".
No other figure in Paldea combines competitive and institutional power like this. Beating Geeta means beating the entire organization.
Affable on the surface, intimidating in practice
The game is careful to separate how she comes across from the effect she has. Her appearance is affable, her presence is not, and the people she deals with find her intimidating.
She is admired and revered by most of Paldea, though not unanimously: the Gym Leaders she oversees are the least fond of her.
That status also makes her the benchmark others measure themselves against. Nemona, already Champion-ranked, still didn't show her full strength on the day of her assessment against the Boss.
Glimmora, and a team with no obvious weakness
Her signature Pokémon is Glimmora.
At the Paldea League, it closes out a team of six: Espathra, Gogoat, Avalugg, Kingambit and Veluza come before it.
In the League Club Room at Blueberry Academy, she reshuffles this lineup of six: Chesnaught and Dragapult take the place of Gogoat and Veluza. No single type lets you force your way through, which is the hallmark of well-designed endgame opponents.
